Welcome to the Iowa Affiliate of the

Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society

The purpose of our organization is to offer education and support to health care professionals who provide care and assistance to individuals with wounds, ostomies and incontinence. 

We are so pleased that you chose our Iowa Affiliate when you joined the national organization.  If you have not yet joined the national organization and want to know more about what we do, please take the time to look at both our website and the national web site at www.wocn.org to learn more.  I am confident that you will find that we can meet your professional needs. 

The Iowa Affiliate has been on the cutting edge of WOC care for the past several years and have members committed to that goal.  You are joining a motivated, well-educated, fun group of individuals and we look forward to you becoming an active member. 

As an organization, we have lots to offer our members.

	The Iowa Affiliate sponsors an annual fall conference which is open to health care professionals. Conference information and registration is posted under News and Events.
	The Iowa affiliate has a scholarship for Iowa nurses attending an approved educational program. See Award, Applications, and Forms.
	The Iowa Affiliate provides a scholarship for an Iowa teen (who is an ostomate) to attend an annual summer camp sponsored by the United Ostomy Association. See Awards, Applications, and Forms for more information.
