Working with
Laurie, for the last two years, has been a pleasure.
As the Webmaster for Iowa WOCN Affiliate, I have
often felt that Laurie has been the best Website chairperson
I’ve worked with.
So, this opportunity to support her makes me very
happy as I have not had an opportunity to express this to
her.
A website
chairperson has many responsibilities.
Laurie makes sure that all material on the web is
appropriate, grammatically correct, formatted for the web,
interesting to the users, and logically placed for user
access. When she
submits entries to me she is always clear about what she
wants posted, and where she wants it placed so the users can
logically find and access it. Also, any time we’ve had
issues to resolve she has always been patient, clear, and
prompt while working with me on the resolution.
Laurie’s
work on the WOCN Iowa Affiliate’s redesign was also
extremely important.
She managed the selection and organization of the
material, making the transition to the new website a
pleasure to work on.
I don’t think it would have ever happened if she had
not been the driving force behind it.

in making sure Iowa WOCN’s website is a premier website in
the nursing category of online websites.
