WOCN will begin extending its educational offerings beyond specialty nurses. To accomplish this, the WOCN Society Board of Directors appointed a task force charged with developing curriculum for a continuing education program aimed at educating the non-specialty nurse providing basic wound care to patients. This includes RN’s, LPN/LVN’s and military medics. From this initiative, WOCN is proud to announce its Wound Treatment Associate (WTA) Program. Refer to the national WOCN.org website for more information.

This is a Free conference sponsored by the Iowa Affiliate of Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses. It is intended for pediatric and adult ostomates as well as individuals who care for and/or support someone with an ostomy. The day will include vendors, speakers, and time for questions and networking with others.
